SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Our charity partnerships

FareShare

FareShare

Through our partnership with food redistribution charity FareShare, we provide a regular supply of fresh fruit to the hundreds of causes they support. Since May 2018, Officedrop has delivered 40 boxes of fresh fruit to FareShare’s London Regional Centre every week, providing a much-needed and reliable source of produce.

As the UK’s largest food redistribution charity, FareShare fights hunger and food waste by distributing surplus goods from the food industry to frontline charities. The food is then turned into nutritious meals for those who need it, from disadvantaged children to isolated elderly people and homeless hostels.

By donating over 100,000 pieces of fruit to FareShare each year, we’re helping charities to provide nutritious meals and snacks to people who may not have access them otherwise.

“We are thrilled to be working with Officedrop. The ability to access a steady stream of fresh fruit is so important for FareShare and the frontline charities we support. Thanks to this partnership FareShare London will have a great supply of produce, enabling them to meet the needs of local charities that are always in need of more fruit.”

Anthony Nolan

Anthony Nolan

Anthony Nolan is a pioneering UK charity that saves the lives of people with blood cancer and disorders where a blood stem cell or bone marrow transplant is their only hope of survival.

Every day, Anthony Nolan facilitates three potentially lifesaving transplants by matching patients with donors through their register. They also support patients and their families throughout their transplant journey and conduct research to improve transplant outcomes.

Officedrop has been supporting Anthony Nolan’s lifesaving work by donating hundreds of bananas to sporting events that are vital to the charity’s fundraising efforts. Our fruit has kept Anthony Nolan athletes energised at events including the London Marathon and RideLondon. Elsewhere, our donation of Nutriboxes to the charity’s Daisy Ball fundraising event contributed towards an amazing £320,000 being raised.

Global’s Make Some Noise

Global’s Make Some Noise

Global’s Make Some Noise is a national charity set up to help disadvantaged children, young people and their families.

The organisation offers grants to smaller charities around the UK that are involved in vital work, but don’t always have the platform to attract the support they need. These grants help to provide essential equipment and life-changing services to young people living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity.

Officedrop helps Global’s Make Some Noise in its fundraising initiatives by donating fruit boxes for events the charity is involved in, such as the Royal Parks Half Marathon.
